Broadstaff is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager - Business Development on behalf of a leading telecommunications and infrastructure services organization serving the commercial, enterprise, utility, and data center markets.

This is an opportunity for a proven relationship-builder to drive growth throughout the New York Metro region by developing new business opportunities across structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, low-voltage systems, and network deployment services.

What You'll Do

Develop and grow strategic relationships throughout the New York Metro market.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across commercial, enterprise, healthcare, municipal, transportation, and data center environments.

Telecom Technician II â Central Office Decommissioning (DC Power Experience) Nationwide Travel Required
Broadstaff is seeking experienced Telecom Technicians to support large-scale Central Office (CO) decommissioning projects throughout the United States.

This position is ideal for telecom professionals with strong DC power experience, Central Office background, and hands-on expertise working in active network environments. Candidates should be comfortable performing power-down activities, cable mining, equipment removal, and infrastructure decommissioning projects while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Perform equipment power-down and decommissioning activities in active Central Office environments
Follow approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to safely disconnect and remove telecom equipment
Work in live -48V DC power environments
Identify A/B feeds and redundant power paths
Disconnect DC power cabling and remove associated infrastructure
Perform voltage verification and polarity testing
Mine and remove fiber, copper, and coaxial cabling
Trace circuits prior to removal to prevent service interruptions
Remove abandoned telecommunications equipment and infrastructure
Maintain accurate documentation and update removal records
Follow OSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements at all times

Required Qualifications

3+ years of Central Office telecommunications experience
Strong hands-on experience with -48V DC power systems
Experience decommissioning or installing telecom equipment in live environments
Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and removal plans
Understanding of grounding and bonding practices
Experience with cable mining and equipment removal
Ability to pass background requirements for Central Office access
Valid driver's license
Willingness to travel extensively nationwide

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Nortel equipment and legacy telecom systems
Experience with Lucent, Alcatel, Ericsson, Cisco, or similar platforms

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois Structural Engineer (SE) license â REQUIRED
