This is a 6 month ++ Contract to Hire Opportunity in Rochester, NY or Miami FL or Tampa, FL, Edison, NJ and Boxborough, MA
Overall duty is to coordinate and or manage maintenance events within Crown Castle Fiber’ s Network such that they minimize disruption to our customer base, and ensure that each affected customer receives timely notification of scheduled maintenance events in accordance with its SLA.
o Maintenance Coordination- Internal and Vendor Maintenance Management.
o MOP Assessment
o Maintenance Event Approval
o Impact Analysis- Circuit Impact Research, Assessment, and Validation
o Conflict Assessment-Internal, External Maintenance & Network Outage Conflict Resolution
o Internal, Vendor and Customer Scheduling & Coordination
o Research customer Information to ensure each customer is properly notified
o Proactive Customer Communication & Notifications
o CM Support Line - for logging maintenance progress in the field.
o Diagnose, troubleshoot, and clear alarms as reported by NMS events logs, as it pertains to Change Management activity
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all Change Management SA inquiries
o Various Record Validation Projects
o CRM application experience with submitting change order requests.
o Hands on Experience and working knowledge within the following areas: SONET, IP protocols and routing, Layer 2 switching, WDM, Dark Fiber services and OTDR testing.
o 3-5 years telecommunications experience required.
o Good judgment, concentration, and decision making skills
o Display good customer service techniques with a strong commitment to Customer Care, as the customer’ s advocate.
o Extreme attention to detail

• Cisco routers and switches
• Juniper MX and EX series
• Experience with MRV
• Experience with BGP, IPv6, and/or JUNOS a plus
• Cisco ONS
• Lucent DMX
• Solid experience with standard MS Office Product Set
• NMS alarm monitoring
• Working Knowledge within a Circuit Inventory System- IE. OSP Insight and Netcracker
• NOC or Ops experience
